The meeting opened with the Serenity Prayer
Introductions
Present were the Vice-Chair, the Secretary, the Treasurer, the Assistant
Treasurer, the Inside Literature Chair, the immediate past Treasurer and
two Alternate Intergroup Representatives.
Reading of Concept 2 — Participation is the key to harmony.
Reports
The Treasurer’s report was presented and approved.
Various committee chairs and Intergroup Representatives made reports.
Notable News
- A new Treasurer and Assistant Treasurer were unanimously elected
- There are still open positions. See below.
- The directory chair is updating the group information in the
office directory and is preparing to produce a printed directory for
distribution.
- Intergroup was asked to contribute some Al-Anon and Alateen
literature pieces for use at the Gopher State Roundup. We approved
contributing 20 Alateen newcomers’ packets, 50 Al-Anon
Newcomers’ packets and 100 Alateen Steps and Traditions wallet
cards.
- A proposal was made to switch phone services to Integra Telecom in
order to save money and improve internet services. Questions were raised
as to whether there would be any startup or termination fees and to how the
price compared with Qwest. No decision was made, but this will be further
discussed at the May meeting.
- It was previously proposed that the vice-chair’s internet
service be subsidized. This was tabled for future consideration.
- The vice-chair is looking for a location for the annual Gratitude
Night, currently scheduled for November 14th.

6 PM. A meeting in a bag!
