Children), the Assistant Treasurer (Midway Wednesday 6:30), and members

replaces the Double Dimer program.
- Newsletter
- The May newsletter came out. A group decision was made to have
the next two mailing deadlines July 8th, 2011 and Sepembert 21st, 2011.
Newsletter frequency and cost effectiveness were discussed.
- Getting the word out about Intergroup
- The chair committed to attending 5 Al-Anon groups to inform them
and invite them to Intergroup and asked others to do something similar.
There was discussion about contacting groups before attending and a
list of things to tell them. Information would include: literature
sales, phone calls, support of newcomers, groups and web site.
- Treasurer’s Report
- The Treasurer reported that, on average, Intergroup is falling
behind approximately $300.00 each month. There are set costs that
happen monthly but there are other costs not included in the monthly
SET costs such as Fellowship Weekend hospitality suite and purchase of
medallions and literature. There was discussion about literature sales
and how and when payments are made.
- Assistant Treasurer's Report
- The Assistant Treaasurer reported on cash flow at the Intergroup
office. In reconciling sales and contribution logs and sales slips,
he has found discrepancies of only pennies. The office volunteers are
doing a good job recording transactions.
- Office Volunteer Chair report
- The Office Volunteer Chair reported that new office volunteers have
been oriented. There was discussion about encouraging groups to
volunteer for specific days of the month, such as the first Monday of
each month.
- Fellowship Weekend
- Minnesota South Area is interested in participating in a
hospitality room at the Fall Assembly together wit St. Paul Intergroup
and Minneapolis Information Services. The group decided that would be
a good idea.
- Cooperation with Districts
- A proposal was made that the meeting agendas of the Districts and
Intergroup regularly include time for a report from the other
organization. The purpose is to get the news out to each other and to
the groups. The Chair said she would contact the Districts 19-22
Chair and the Districts 31-33 Chair.
