Business

1. Open Service Committee Positions for 2014

Vice Chair: this position works on hosting and coordinating events and runs the monthly meeting if the chair is absent.

Newsletter: The IR from the Midway Monday 7:15 pm Men’s group volunteered for this position. Any submissions for him sent to the Intergroup email (stpaulafg@pobox.com) will be forwarded to him.

Other open positions: Group Liaison, Event Sales, Minnesota South Area Assembly Liaison, Office Manager, Alateen, Archives, Public Outreach, and Institutions.

2. Sale of literature at Gopher State Roundup

We are seeking volunteers to sell literature at Gopher State over Memorial Day Weekend. Ask groups for people willing to transport literature and sell it over the whole weekend.

3. Contacting groups

We want to call groups to update info and invite them to send Intergroup Reps. A member volunteered to call all 110 groups to update their info; she will ask for email addresses also.

4. Questions/Concerns/Other Business

Should we do a group inventory of intergroup? What would this look like? We could still use more volunteers in the office volunteer pool. We need evening phone volunteers also.

The new newsletter editor will send this out quarterly (April 1, August 1 and October 1). It will contain a calendar with important events.

The meeting closed at 8:05 pm with the Al-Anon Declaration.
